BULLS HEAD SATURDAY F.C

HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE BULLS HEAD SATURDAY F.C WEB SITE.
We are a Saturday football team from the Telford Combination League. We originate from the Bulls Head Pub in Milners Lane, Dawley Bank, Telford, UK. We were formed in June 2001 by a few of the regulars and with a lot of encouragement and sponsorships we were able to purchase a new kit and enter into the league. Every week we hold a Bonus Ball Competition to keep the cash injecting into the team and we have had very kind donations from our sponsor, RMP GUARDING. We play our home matches at the Phoenix School in Dawley. We have seen players come and go which has helped us in a way because new and more experienced players have joined us.

As you can see we are not doing too good at the moment, but as a team we will never surrender. Our main aim now is to lift ourselves off the bottom and try and finish at least mid-table. We know we can't win it but we can get ourselves higher up.

Here we have our forward Trevor Blocksidge in action against Claverley. We lost this match 5-3 despite holding them to 3-3 for most of the game. Our home strip is Royal Blue Shirts, Shorts and Socks. Our change strip is White Shirts with a Green band, Green Shorts and Green Socks. Other teams in our league for 2001/02 are Woodberry, Sugar Rays, Captain Webb, Shropshire Lads, Claverley, White Horse, Denso, Bacchus, Bridgnorth 2000 and Shakespeare.
